Race Weekend Thanks GB Corporate Sponsors

NASSAU, Bahamas (April 24, 2018) – Sunshine Insurance Race Weekend recently thanked its Grand Bahama sponsors who helped make the 2018 event a success. 

                In her first official capacity as Assistant Race Director, Olympian Tonique Williams got the chance to meet sponsors and discuss the race.

                Komen Bahamas Honorary Chairperson, Willie Moss, who is also a senior partner at Graham Thompson & Co, accompanied Ms. Williams as they visited Statoil South Riding Point, Sawyer’s Fresh Market,, the Grand Bahama Port Authority (GBPA), Grand Bahama Power Company (GBPC), Graham Thompson and PharmaChem Technologies.

The 10th annual Marathon Bahamas will be held on January 20, 2018.

A group of Drake University students will travel to the Bahamas over January Term for a leadership course on the high seas.
Caribbean waters are enough to pull anyone out of a winter rut. Watching the runners at Marathon Bahamas fly by, it’s clear the race is made up of a blend of both locals and vacationers. Some are donning running apparel that only a true Bahamian could pull off while others flaunt their Canadian identity with maple leaf emblems

A huge thank you to all of our incredible Sunshine Insurance Race Weekend sponsors. This week, Sunshine Insurance Marketing Coordinator, Rogan Smith traveled to Grand Bahama present plaques to our sponsors in the second city.
